Final score on Saturday was 26-15 WRC. The boys from Madison advance to the quarterfinals in Pittsburgh, PA. The will play Rocky Gorge on 5/17/2014.

Fall Season Completed

The WRC D2 squad finished their fall season with a 29-5 victory over the Eastside Banshees. With the win, the WRC men take their record to 9-0 for the Fall. Stay tuned in the spring for the continuation of our season.

Fall 2014 Training Starts August 7th!

We will begin training on Thursday August 7 for both division II and division IV. Training will be from 6pm-8pm at the Sports Complex grounds. Training will be on every Tuesday/Thursday until mid November. Times will fluctuate as light becomes sparse. We will play our first league match against the Chicago Riot on August 23. You have five weeks to fine tune your physical fitness. Tuesday/Thursday training will contain a large amount of fitness to springboard us into the the fall season. We need everyone who is interested in playing ball to be ready to ball by August 7.

New to Rugby? Fall season is the perfect time to start. All levels are welcome regardless of skill level.

Midwest Playoffs This Weekend @ Wisconsin Rugby Sports Complex

The Wisconsin Rugby teams will be hosting Midwest D2 Playoff matches this Saturday, April 26. 

Wisconsin Women’s Rugby vs. Chicago Sirens Women’s Rugby Football Club – 11 a.m. 

Wisconsin Rugby Club vs. Eastside Banshees RFC – 1 p.m.

Second side matches to follow and Socials at the field. Women vs.Menagerie Rugby Club at 1 p.m. Last Home match of the spring for the women!

Both Wisconsin teams must win these matches to advance to the 2014 Midwest D2 Championships, May 3-4.

We’d love to have a great home crowd of friends, alumni and family to cheer us on to victory! Watch the games and stick around for the social!
