The WRC beat Michiana on Saturday 49-0. Then in the Midwest Final, the WRC played an inspired Pittsburgh team looking for redemption after being knocked out of last years playoffs by the WRC. At half-time it was a tight contest with the WRC leading 6-5 on 2 penalty kicks by Miles Jobke. As soon as 10 minutes into the 2nd half, the WRC began to impose it’s will by getting trys from replacements Dan Johnson and Nic Tyson. The final ended up being 30-12 WRC.
The boys now travel to Virginia Beach on May 18th to face Naples in their Sweet 15 match-up.
A fundraiser will be held to help defer some of the costs of the trip. Look for more details soon.

Old Boy Compton Kurtz in the news. Great 2nd row on the 2008 third-place WRC team at Nationals; outstanding father, husband and doctor. Of course this makes the rest of us look bad; but hey, we’re willing to take one for the team
